Meeghan Henry was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and came to the US when she was four. She has appeared on several national commercials, including those for McDonalds, Blockbuster, Ross, HSBC, and Nike. Now, Meeghan is building a name for herself as the voice of Hollywood, having already released her first debut single “When I’m 18″ along with her album, also called “When I’m 18.” The album features songs from new-name producers, like C Minor and Terence Davis, next to big-t
ime producers, like Ronnie King. Her music video for “When I’m 18″ was recently nominated by Hollywood Music Media in Awards for Best Music Video of 2010.
Also recently she was nominated as breakthrough artist of the year 2010 by New Music Weekly, and Best Female Newcomer 2010 by Independent Music Networks.
The young singer is now part of the School Tour, which she joined in 2010. She claims that she simply loves performing and has been very happy to be able to perform at different schools throughout Southern California. Meeghan is also currently recording a new album and has more in store, so keep your ears open.
